Become a member of the PTO

The Parent Teacher Organization's goals are to add educational, cultural, social and recreational experiences for our children and to encourage a closer working relationship between the home and the school. Please help support these goals by becoming a member of the PTO.

Your $5 membership dues, as well as other monetary funds of the PTO, are used to provide programs for our children. For example, every September and January, teachers receive funds from the PTO, which they use for class projects. The PTO supports bus transportation for the school's field trips and sponsors cultural art programs, various activities, and pays for the planners and folders our children use in the classroom.

Becoming a member of the PTO insures you the right to: participate, speak, and vote at general PTO meetings, but it does not olbigate you to contribute or help with any functions organized by the PTO. Your participation is voluntary and you will not be contacted unless you choose to be.

To become a member, just complete the form and return it with your dues to the school by September 24, 2007 in an envelope marked "PTO Membership". Please be sure to include your e-mail address on the form. Membership forms will also be accepted at all PTO meetings.

Lastly, please feel free to make an additional contribution if you wish.
