Orchard Farms PTO

All Orchard Farms Parents and Students are invited to the Open House on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This year's Open House is using a new schedule to accomodate the 5th and 6th Grade Mini-Middle School model as well as families with multiple students. Make sure that you arrive on time or you will miss your chance to tour your child's classroom.

Please remember that the Open House is not a Parent-Teacher Conference night; there is simply not enough time to accomodate everyone. Look for a sign-up sheet in your child's classroom if you wish to schedule a conference.

Open House Schedule

6:30pm – 7:30pm

Classroom tours for Grades K-4 in two segments to accomodate those parents with more than one student in Grades K-4.

• 6:30pm – 6:45pm
• 6:45pm – 7:00pm

Special Education and Support Staff will be available during this time

7:00pm – 7:30pm

All parents meet in the Cafetorium

7:30pm – 8:30pm

Classroom tours for Grades 5 & 6 in 4 segments to simulate the Mini-Middle School experience.

• 7:30pm – 7:45pm Homeroom (pick up schedule)
• 7:45pm – 8:00pm Segment 2
• 8:00pm – 8:15pm Segment 3
• 8:15pm – 8:30pm Segment 4

Volunteer Sign-up sheets for the PTO Committees will be posted in the lobby. Parents interested in helping out are encouraged to sign up.

Families interested in becoming members of the PTO will be able to join this evening. Both Regular Memberships ($10) and Entertainment Book Memberships ($20) will be available.

A selection of Spirit Wear will be available for purchase.

Light refreshments will be provided by the PTO.
