THE PTO BOARD HAS DECIDED WE NEED TO HAVE AT LEAST 50 ATTEND TO MAKE THIS A SUCCESS. 2 FAMILIIES CONTACTED ME TODAY ABOUT TICKETS. IF I HAVE 50 PEOPLE BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON, WE WILL CONTINUE.  Join us for out 1st annual PTO cookie Swap! It is happening on Wednesday December 7th immediately following our PTO meeting. Bring cookies ( 1 batch from your favorite recipe) and swap with other parents. We are sure to have fun mingling with other parents, swapping cookies, and sampling a few cookies.  RSVP to me by Wednesday at noon if you think you will be attending. If you provide me your cookie recipe i will print them for distribution.

Thank you to all who attended our first PTO meeting of the year!  It was great to see so many seasoned veterans and some new faces too. Some of the topics we covered included the budget for the upcoming year, the walk-a-thon, the fall festival, NECAP scores from last year's science testing (way to go Orchard Farms students!!!!!), the flu clinic, and the return of our After School Enrichment program for the students.  Mrs.

The school is filled with excitement.  Our children are in the process of picking out a name for their school Mascot.  Each classroom is nominating a name this week.  Next week, every student will vote on their favorite name.  Stay tuned for the exciting announcement.

It was great to meet all the new and returning families of our Kindergarteners at the recent Kindergarten Orientation.  The children seemed very comfortable with each other after meeting at our First Annual Ice Cream Social!  Thank you all for attending!  A special thank you goes out to Lisa Vecchio, a new Orchard Farms parent that has stepped up to Chair the Spiritwear Committee!  We look forward to working with her to create great items to promote our Orchard Farms Spirit!  Also, a big thank you goes out to Melissa Tapley, a returning parent of a new Kinderga
